Harold Schenk is highly respected as arranger, producer, songwriter and sound designer. He has worked with South Africa 's top performing and recording artists. As sound designer his client list boasts brand names like DSTV and ACSA.
He started his musical journey at the age of 4, studying classical piano and obtained his licentiate cum laude. Keyboard is still his main instrument and he is a master in the field of music instrument programming. His passion is sound design and creating music that conveys a specific feel, atmosphere or emotional message for an environment, brand name or visual. He gained intensive knowledge in the effects of different energy levels of music on the human psyche and created a library of relaxation music, which is currently being used by top health spas in South Africa and abroad.
Harold is uniquely gifted in understanding the client's needs and translating that into music, whether it is creating a sonic sound for a recording artist, capturing a specific sound for a brand or adding music to visual images or moving picture.
